Met het in 2017 uitgebrachte album 'God's Problem Child' en 'Last Man Standing' uit 2018, maakt het nieuwe album de trilogie compleet: drie albums met als rode draad de thema's sterfelijkheid, wijsheid en empathie.Het album bevat 11 songs, 3 nieuwe liedjes geschreven door Willie Nelson met Buddy Cannon die de laatste 13 albums van Nelson heeft geproduceerd en 'Stay Away From Lonely Places' de track die Willie Nelson voor het eerst uitbracht op het album 'The Words Don't Fit The Picture' uit 197 .De andere liedjes op het album zijn een eerbetoon aan een aantal pop en country artiesten zoals Billy Joel ('Just The Way You Are'), Mac Mac Davis ('It's Hard to Be Humble' met Lukas Nelson and Micah Nelson) en de country/folk artiest Guy Clark ('Immigrant Eyes' and 'My Favorite Picture of You, de titelsong van Clark's 2014 Grammy-winning Best Folk Album). Eerder dit jaar won Willie Nelson een Grammy voor 'My Way' (Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album), een muzikaal eerbetoon aan Frank S natra.
