Johnny Cash, the 'Man In Black', is een van de meest invloedrijke muzikanten van afgelopen 50 jaar. Zijn diepe stem en droge gitaargeluid is herkenbaar als het geluid tussen folk, rock en country. Het concert op deze DVD (wat ook op CD uitkomt) is opgenomen in de Tennessee State Penitentiary in Nashville in 1976. Het is een van de twee gevangenis concerten die gefilmd zijn. Naast Cash zijn er speciale gasten Linda Ronstadt en Roy Clark. Grote hits komen langs: Folsom Prison Blues, Orange Blossom Special, A Boy Named Sue en Ronstadt’s versie van de Eagles’ Desperado.
