Most fans of INXS will agree that Kick was their most successful studio album.
The album was produced by [a31213] and was mixed by [a11415].

Released by the Australian rock band as their sixth studio recording in 1987, Kick has been certified six times platinum by the RIAA, and within a year of its release, the album had achieved gold and platinum status in many countries.

In Canada, the album kicked off four major Top 10 radio and club singles: "New Sensation", "Never Tear Us Apart", "Devil Inside" and "Need You Tonight.”
The "Need You Tonight"/"Mediate" stylish dance/rock hybrid remix was a huge club favorite and not surprisingly it also received DJ-play in the funk clubs.
