Blind Boys of Alabama - Live Ny (DVD)

The Blind Boys Of Alabama kwamen samen in 1937 en zijn sindsdien onafscheidelijk. Ze zijn dan ook één van de grote namen in de Amerikaanse gospel muziek en hun live shows trekken nog steeds duizenden mensen. Hun meest recente albums zijn uitgebracht op het Real World label van Peter Gabriel en The Blind Boys hebben ook een vocale bijdrage geleverd aan Gabriels eigen albums. The DVD 'Go Tell It On The Mountain' werd gefilmd in 2004 en bevat naast de titelsong ook andere klassiekers uit het repertoire van The Blind Boys. Op deze DVD staan diverse gastbijdragen, waaronder die van Chrissie Hynde (The Pretenders), Mavis Staples (The Staple Singers), Charlie Musselwhite en Aaron Neville.
