The album was named after the street of the same name in London's St. John's Wood in the City of Westminster, where EMI's recording studios are located, where most of their recordings were made. Abbey Road is the last album the Beatles recorded together. With over 31 million copies sold, Abbey Road is one of the most successful albums worldwide.
